YOU CALL THE SHOTS ! Best Sports Movies of alltime

Mikey and I are compiling a Top 10 list of the best sports movies of all time and we would like your input. That's right folks, you are calling the shots on this. Please post the comments with your favorite sports movie and why you love it. Everyone has a favorite and now its time for your voice to be heard. It does not matter the sport, the actor, the era, if you like it we want to know about it and hopefully with enough support it will crack the top #10.

  5. Lets not forget The Sandlot(obviously based on your picture!). Who doesnt remember playing backyard ball, imagining the day that they were up with the bases loaded, bottom of the 9th down by 3 in the world series!? You also cant forget A League of Their Own, before I get made fun of I love this movie because of Tom Hanks alone, one of his best roles by far. Dont believe me, watch the movie again and try to imagine how bad that movie would be with anyone but him!

We also cant forget Varsity Blues, Field of Dreams, BRIAN'S SONG (the original with Billy Dee Williams and James Caan), The Natural, Rocky, Caddyshack, The Longest Yard, Bad News Bears, White Men Can't Jump, and teaser, my personal favorite, Bull Durham. My list is being composed as we speak.

  7. Hoosiers is a great sports movie. Gene Hackman, Dennis Hopper...great acting.
The original Brian's Song is a classic.
Caddyshack and The Waterboy are a couple of good comedy sports movies. Stupid, but funny.
But if I had to pick one for pure entertainment value, I'd have to go with Bull Durham.
