NFL Draft Eve

Less than 24hrs the first round of the 2011 NFL draft will be in the books.  It feels almost like Christmas eve at this point.  In the midst of the labor situation (which is currently in worse shape than Andre Smith was for his private workout in 2009, see picture below) and almost 3 months since the last time we saw a football game, the draft is a pleasant distraction from the unpleasant reality.  This years draft is especially crucial, without being able to rely on free agency to help get the final piece of the puzzle your team may have been missing, teams are under much more pressure to hit on their picks.  With all this said, no corrections to my mock draft, I know there are going to be mistakes, but I drafted more so what the teams SHOULD be drafting, not who I thought they should draft.

Sleep tight my friends, for we're on the eve of the REAL start of this years football season.  Some teams will make a decision that will take years to recover from (Jamarcus Russell, former #1 overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft), others will grab a steal that will put them far ahead of where they thought they'd be with that pick (Tom Brady, former 6th round pick 2000 NFL Draft).  As a Chiefs fan, I just hope we are much closer to mirroring the 2010 draft rather than 2009.  I'll leave you with this last picture, reminding you that regardless of how big, strong, or well you did in college, if you have man-boobs, you should never run shirtless...
