Replacing a Legend

With the recent success of QB Aaron Rodgers for the Green Bay Packers, I pondered how rare it is for a Hall of Fame NFL quarterback to be replaced by another all star or potential Hall of Famer? The most difficult postition in the most difficult and popular game in the USA its hard enough to find one Hall of Fame player in a 50 year span, let alone back to back at the QB Spot. I wanted to research and see what lucky fan bases have been spoiled with elite talent in consecutive decades. .... Alright well that was the easiest blog ever it looks like we have

SF 49ers - Joe Montana replaced by Steve Young

**** SD Chargers - Johnny Unitas ( One season ) followed by Dan Fouts

GB Packers - Brett Favre ( Sure H.O.F. Lock ) followed by Aaron Rodgers ?????
